so um, obviously i havent been updating this blog. heres why:
i purchased seasons one and two on dvd, assuming they would have subtitles and it would make running this blog a whole lot easier - but they don’t.
i tried downloading subtitles files that i found on various websites, but i can’t for the life of me get vlc player to pick them up.
i thought maybe the subtitles files would work if i used them with .avi files instead of my dvds, but then i remembered that my external hard drive with over 100 gigs of television including every episode of psych was recently dropped and is now nothing but a clicking mess that is impossible to fix.
soooooooooo, unless one of my wonderful computer savvy followers can tell me how to get these .srt files working with my psych dvd’s - it looks like this blog is going to remain inactive.
Psych isnt shown on free tv here in Australia so i'm behind. I've just bought season 3 on dvd. It's a bit 'darker' than season 2 but still good. Just wanted to say i looooooooooove this site and this show rocks.
yeah dw, i’m in australia too. it suuckkkkkks. i saw the first season on arena or idk, some channel on foxtel - waited about a year and a half for them to start playing season two, and then got sick of waiting and downloaded the rest of the series online.
thanks and sorry for any spoilers you have encountered on this blog!
how about some psych news/spoilers, to cover up my laziness and empty queue?
“Question: Psych. One of the funniest shows out there. Any spoilers or something to hold me over until the new season? —Mildred
Ausiello: Try this on for size: The series is remaking The Hangover! Well, kinda. In what’s sure to be a much-talked-about eppy, Shawn, Gus, Lassiter and Woody wake up in the Psych Office without even a fuzzy recollection of the preceding evening of shenanigans. (Shawn’s hot hook-up sure does, though… ) More troubling? They might have killed somebody!”
i think it's funny how you would have trouble understanding an american accent whereas i would have trouble understanding an australian accent. i always forget to think in terms of being on the other side of the accent.... do you ever try to fake an american accent? what's the trick to doing an australian accent?
i dont have a lot of trouble, but i notice it more when watching psych, because im trying to write down what they say word for word, and sometimes ill replay a sentence four or five times and still not understand a certain word. to be fair “forced” in an american accent sounds exactly like forrest in an australian accent. but idk, i think it would probably be easier for me to fake an american accent than it would for you to fake an australian one, because 95% of the television i watch is american.. and i watch A LOT of television .. so generally (besides a few words here and there, as we all know from observing this blog) im pretty accustom to it.
as for your last question, a quick 24 second tutorial:
Not to be trolling, but you make a lot of spelling errors...just some constrctive criticism, don't mean to be rude. Like "forrest" instead of "forced"...
lol, dw, i know i do. i’ve stated it about a hundred times. im lazy and i dont put 100% effort into making these caps anymore because i got kinda bored of it after a while.
and this is no actual joke here, that’s not a spelling error. thats me, not being able to completely understand american accents and just typing in the word that sounds closest to what i heard without giving a sht if it makes any sense.. but i’ll fix it now. thanks for pointing it out. appreciated.
go to the episode you want and go to “search links” the megavideo links are probably the best, even though you can only watch 72 minutes before being shut out.
i just downloaded the entire series from isohunt using utorrent.
ps. instead of making a text post ill just write this here. sorry for the lack of updates lately, i just started a new job so i spend a lot less time on the computer and i havent got any new caps. however i have purchased the season 2 dvd and when i get some time i’ll just cap it with the subtitles on to save time (y)
my queue has run out. so i’m finally getting around to capping your requests. starting with 65 million years off.. as you can see by my desperate attempt to add something to the queue before the caps with spelling errors started posting (theyre kept at the bottom of the queue so that i dont forget to fix them.. it’s a flawed system lol).
anyways. its taking a while, im a slow capper. but i figure if i cap one request a day, i can have a few episodes worth of stuff in my queue so you can see more of a variety. i think i’ve only been posting stuff from ‘dead bear walking’ and ‘in plain fright’ for about a month due to laziness.
feel free to request more episodes, drop me an ask. don’t expect to see them straight away though LOL.
